Some good friends of ours invited us to go bowling yesterday afternoon. It was so much fun and we all had a blast, including Taya. Taya is a much better bowler than I am, she got a strike and a couple of spares! She loved pushing the bowling ball off of the ramp and would smile and clap and say "yeah" until the ball was half way down the alley, then she would look at it with sad eyes and wave her hand for it to come back. She was too funny.
She also liked the hard bowling alley floor, she took her first few steps without holding on to anything!! She would let go of my lap and walk a few steps to the scoring table and then back. Can you believe it was in the bowling alley of all places!?!?! (Of course, with no video camera around. Camera phone pictures just don't cut it!) Despite my efforts she won't do it again today at home. I guess we'll have to make a trip back to the bowling alley!! Are you up for it Cooks?

Way to go Taya. It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun! Hopefully she will show off for us on Saturday! (Are you coming?)
